iPAD JAM Session

Yesterday we hosted a fantastic iPAD Jam Session at RE/MAX iREALTY Innovations in Calgary. We had approximately 20 agents out with their iPhones and iPad’s. We broke into groups and learned from each other what apps are being used, looked for and that might be useful for REALTOR’s in the course of their business. Below are the compiled notes of what was discussed. Thanks so much to those that attended and shared!

-used to get documents from computer to iPAD and back
-sign up for an account (it’s free)
-install on laptop and desk top
-download app on iPAD
-click and drag documents from computer to dropbox
-open in dropbox on iPAD and then chose which app you want to work on the doucment in (example, Noterize, iAnnotatePDF, Evernote, etc)

NOTERIZE– For Signatures
-information at: http://www.noterize.com/
-must be a PDF document to utilize
-this one allows a signature to be applied directly to the contract, and not required to be moved
-this is the only signing app at this point that should be used for signing contracts with clients

KEYNOTE-information at: http://www.apple.com/iwork/keynote/
-is like a Powerpoint Presentation program, for Mac’s
-can be used on iPAD’s
-excellent for showing prepared listing and buyers presentation

SOUNDNOTE- Audio recording app
-information at: http://soundnote.com/
-turn on during meeting with client to record what was discussed. Can send file to clients so they are reminded of the items you discussed and the information you provided.

EVERNOTE- can take text, audio and photo notes

-excellent when using multiple means of gathering information
-all items are stored in the cloud, so can access file recorded on iPHONE, iPAD or computer.
